About MAPS Custom Artwork
Meghan Alexandria Pierce is an artist in the New England area. She currently is residing in North Conway, NH with her little black cat named Toro, working and building her custom art business which consists of constructing and painting signs, providing murals, and other artistic services for local businesses.
Meghan previously was the residential artist for House of Blues, Boston where she lead a team of artists, and offered these services. She acquired these skills over the years through study and practice from a young age. Discipline is what she likes to call it, and has won a few awards, and received some press for her work over the years.
Studying and perfecting her skills started with her parents, and continued when working as a temporary tattoo artist at Stay Tuned in Wolfeboro, NH. The job gave her the confidence to make money at it, alongside the Art Department at Masconomet Regional High School pushing her ability, her talent flourished. The previous head of the art department, Mr. Meinelt was, and continues to be, a great source of inspiration and guidance, and encouraged her to follow her passion amongst her peers, family, and friends over the years.
Trekking out at eighteen, Meghan flew to study and reside in Florence, Italy on a half-tuition scholarship with Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Where she studied fine art amongst the masters and traveled. She transferred to Mr. Meinelt's old college, and within three years finished up her Bachelors in Painting at MassArt in Boston.
After a brief moment at Urban Outfitters and Blanchards she ended up working for three years as a security guard for House of Blues. During this time she started substitute teaching at her old high school, alongside Mr. Meinelt and her old teachers. Exploring what she wanted to do next for a career, she was approached to be the artist at HOB, and accepted. Diligently working for HOB, and taking on freelance jobs over the years, collaborating with various artists, Meghan has truly found her passion.
Having worked some jobs in between including bartending for Blue Man Group, and waitressing at Sap House Meadery. Meghan has always wanted her business to thrive and continue to grow. She is pleased as punch to create artwork for her clients. Her favorite part is watching people get excited about her product she made out of their ideas. "It's fun to see people experience their ideas come to life," Meghan says.
